Great new ideas!

We had our first Board of Directors meeting last night and here are two great new ideas we came up with:

Raffle of the month:

We have decided to start a "Raffle of the month" to raise money for our continued efforts to help the orphans in Kazakhstan. Each month we will pick a fun item and raffle it right here. We had dad in mind for our first item and will be raffling off a $100 gift certificate to Bass Pro Shops ( if you don't have a Bass Pro near you, they can use the gift card online at basspro.com). Father's Day will be here before you know it! What a perfect way to say "I love you dad" while helping the children of Kazakshtan.

To purchase a raffle ticket use the Paypal link on our sidebar to the left. Tickets will be $5 for 1 entry and you have until June 9th to purchase. There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can purchase. The drawing will be held on June 10th and we will overnight the gift certificate. Once we receive your donation we will send you a confirmation.

Are you traveling to Kazakhstan soon?

Would you like to take a box of donations with you? Two Hearts would like to supply you with a box of new and gently used items to donate to your child's baby home. As you get closer to traveling you will be in whirlwind as you try to pack everything you need. Let us relieve some of your burden so you have one less thing to think about. Please let us know if you would like a box and we will fill it with great items for the children left behind. What a great way to save on adoption costs!

Thank you:

A very special thank you to Lisa Marcacci and her church family in California for the beautiful hand knit hats. We received 116 of these gorgeous hats in the mail last week and we are so excited for the children. What a great blessing these hats will be to them.

Thank you this week to...

The Quast Family (WA), The Cohen Family (CT), The Blackburn Family (AL), The Frakes Family (WA), The Willis Family (MO), and a big Thank you to the Hochstetler Family (IN) for the 100 Kissaluvs cloth diapers (they are awesome) and to the Kudwa Family and church family (MI) for the 6 HUGE boxes of coats and other items!! Again we are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and help for the children. We get tears in our eyes when we open every box thinking of the excitement these children will have. Because of all of you , the children will be blessed with things to call their own. So far, they will be able to play outside this winter when it is cold, sleep in warm sleepers and pajamas and wear new shoes and socks that fit their feet. How Awesome is that. We are hoping to someday deliver the stuff ourselves!!

We hope people are starting to receive your cookbooks and we are excited to see your responses. We hope everyone loves them!!

We had a fundraising garage sale this weekend and made over $400 and sold 7 cookbooks!

We are in the process of sorting and putting everything in inventory and we will get you a count on everything tomorrow.

Thank you all again and don't forget Hygiene products in May.
